Flights, Hotel, and $4,000 to Spend at MGM Properties

BetMGM is flying 12 people to Las Vegas, putting them up at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Autograph Collection — one of the better properties on the Strip — and handing them $4,000 in MGM Resorts credit to spend across MGM's Las Vegas dining and spa options. That credit goes a long way at properties that include Bellagio, ARIA, Park MGM, and the Cosmopolitan itself.

The draft takes place inside the BetMGM Sportsbook at ARIA, which is one of the more legitimate sportsbook setups in the city. ARIA sits in the middle of the CityCenter complex on the Las Vegas Strip, between the Cosmopolitan to the north and Park MGM to the south — central location, no complaints on that front.

Riggle, best known from “21 Jump Street,” “The Daily Show,” and a run of NFL-adjacent projects, is a natural fit for this. He‘s been involved in football media long enough that putting him at a fantasy draft table isn’t a stretch. The setup — live reactions as your league makes picks — is a better use of a comedian than having him do a canned pre-event speech and disappear.

Matt Prevost, BetMGM‘s Chief Revenue Officer, said the company is building on the momentum of last year’s version of this same sweepstakes, so this is the second year running for the Vegas Fantasy Draft concept. They've worked out the logistics once already.

How to Get In Before July 31

The entry window is short. BetMGM players need to opt in through the Promotions section of the BetMGM app by July 31, with their Marriott Bonvoy account linked. That account link is the key piece — you can do it through the BetMGM website, the mobile app, or the BetMGM Rewards Store by going into Account Details and following the prompts under My Rewards.

Once you‘re opted in, every $10 in cumulative qualifying wagers earns one entry, capped at 25 entries total. Maximum exposure to max out your entries is $250 in bets. BetMGM currently operates in 31 markets with both mobile and retail options, so the pool of eligible players is significant — but 25 entries is 25 entries. This is a sweepstakes, not a points race where high rollers buy their way into a guaranteed win.

For Marriott Bonvoy members who aren’t already on BetMGM, the account linking works both directions. The broader partnership between BetMGM and Marriott Bonvoy has been in place since 2024, letting players convert BetMGM Rewards points into Marriott Bonvoy points — up to 1 million points annually — redeemable across more than 10,000 Marriott properties worldwide. That's the longer-term value of having the accounts linked, sweepstakes aside.

Why the ARIA Sportsbook Makes Sense for This

Not every Vegas sportsbook is built for an event like this. Some are fine for betting a game; fewer are set up to host 12 people doing something interactive that requires space and some production around it.
